📖 Nehemiah 1:5–11
Before Nehemiah ever spoke to the king…
He spoke to God.
Alignment begins in intercession.
Nehemiah didn’t rush into strategy. He didn’t draft a proposal. He didn’t leverage influence. He knelt in prayer.
And his prayer teaches us how God builds leaders:

Nehemiah didn’t blame others. He said, “We have sinned.” True leadership begins with humility.
📖 Praying God’s promises
He reminded God of His covenant — not because God forgets, but because prayer anchors our faith in what God has already said.
🙇 Leadership rooted in humility
Before he asked for favor from the king of Persia, he sought mercy from the King of Heaven.
Influence without intercession is fragile.
Vision without humility is dangerous.
But when a leader is aligned in prayer, God opens doors no one else can.
