Kristy is currently an educator and author. She started her career as an elementary school teacher after having an epiphany in college that she really wanted to help kids feel supported in their early childhood years. After almost getting fired the first year as a teacher, she became an assistant principal 10 years later. And, in a short 6 months afterwards, she was hired to be a principal at another school!

Due to personal reasons, she left her career as a principal and began her journey as an education consultant to her newfound career today in higher education and being an author.
