Today's episode is a little bit different, and it's quite interesting. Yayoi Komiyama is a co-worker of mine in the entertainment/education industry that is super funny and so caring. It's always a great time recording with her. I've been on a few of her shows, but today is her turn to talk about herself.

Yayoi shares with us the struggles she faced as a child, focusing on how it affected her relationship with food and her health. Due to social issues with other students due to her weight and cultural differences, Yayoi turned to food as her comfort. At the same time, later on, she developed an addiction to the gym. combatting her eating disorder with an exercise disorder.

Now, she is the founder of Brain To Belly, a Facebook Group, Coaching Program, and a Show that's part of the Spanglish World Network.

Her and I discuss self-image, the way our parents affect us, childhood social dynamics, the connection between the brain and the belly, gut-health, food habits, mental health, and more. Find below my appearances on her show!
