Luke 12:1-12

Notes:
1. Warnings against the sin of hypocrisy.
Hypocrisy is a temptation to the believer. (v. 1)
Hypocrisy leads to a deceitful life. (vs. 2-3)
Hypocrisy leads one to fear man. (v. 4)
Hypocrisy leads to an eternal judgment. (vs. 5, 9-10)
2. Confess Christ, even unto death.
You confess Christ by:
Living a life that is pleasing to the Lord. (vs. 2-3)
Fearing God rather than man. (vs. 4-5)
Trusting in the loving, providential care of the Father. (vs. 5-7)
Putting hope in the promises of Jesus Christ. (v. 8)
*Relying on the instructive ministry of the Holy Spirit. (vs. 11-12)
