Julie Balay is a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Sports Dietitian. She earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and was a Certified Personal Trainer for 15 years. She currently runs a private practice in Cresskill, NJ where she specializes in eating disorders and sport nutrition. Julie is also a 15 year faculty member at Montclair State University where she teaches Sports Nutrition to the RD’s of the future.
In her spare time Julie is an endurance sports nut. The four-time Ironman triathlon finisher now brings her passion to mountain biking, off-road triathlons, and trail races. When not getting dirty, Julie loves to cook delicious and nutritious meals for herself and her loved ones that feed both the body and soul.
