While we’ve had a few authors on this show, one thing we have not had is the author of an illustrated book. This week’s guest, Thomas Peniston, is the illustrator and writer of A Time For Color: A Book About Joy. While it may seem to be a children’s book on the surface, one thing Thomas and his wife Landa, who wears the editing and marketing hats in this duo, are here to report is that they’ve got a lot of interest at the other end of the age spectrum, too, in nursing homes and retirement communities.  Kids love it, older folks love it; maybe there’s something in there for the rest of us, too.
