Last week, we saw Kirk have a rough time when he asked his mother for money. 

We learned from Mike's friend, Trevon, that Mike's mother apparently died of an overdose after having an affair with a drug kingpin. 

We saw Courtney Doyle, an escort that Mike helped in the first chapter, get attacked in a confusing manner. 

And, we saw Detective Abraham Lewis conclude that Denny's suicide was suspicious. 

Today, we'll see Mike struggle with his addiction and press Jay for answers. Jay says more than he should, and faces repercussions for it. 

And, we'll see Kirk make another desperate move for cash.
