In today's show, we hear from Rose Jenkins Lane. Rose is with Conserving Carolina, a land preservation organization headquartered in Hendersonville, NC. Conserving Carolina is working with PAL in Spartanburg to help develop the Saluda Grade Rail Trail. They also were instrumental in the development of DuPont State Forest as a recreational area and have helped create a large network of hiking trails and greenways in Rutherford, Henderson, and Polk Counties.
