I have worked for over 20 years and I quit 2 jobs. The second job I quit as an assistant to a C-suite recruiter was due to not being trained properly and being shamed for asking questions.
This taught me how to train employees and encourage questions which results in a happier environment that teaches the steps to a successful job very clearly.

In today's episode Estee talks about how jobseekers are rated internally. Every Applicant Tracking System (ATS) allows recruiters to rate applicants on a 1-5 scale. You've got to be pretty difficult and rude to be a 1 or 2, but most people interviewing are able to be rated as a 3, just by being polite and answering questions. If you are personable and answer questions strongly, then you'll be a 4. If you are impressive, or an expert in your field, you'll be the coveted #5.
