What does it mean to be a good steward? Are there areas of life where we really aren’t stewarding the gifts and blessings from God?

I want to invite you to think about this statement.

What does it mean to “steward” something? Here is Webster’s definition

“A steward is someone whose regular job is to take care of something or someone.”

What does the Bible say about it?

God expects His stewards to be faithful and trustworthy. 

The Bible defines it - lends itself to the idea of ‘overseer” or “manager” over someone else’s matters.

How do you think you are stewarding what God has given you?

Your own health

Your family/children

Your finances

Your relationships

Your home 

Your earthly home - the planet as a whole
