Prayers for Turkey and Syria

God of compassion and love, we pray for all of your beloved children of Turkey and Syria.  Surround them with your heavenly grace, caress them with your Holy Spirit, and fill them with your love.  Reach out to each person with the caring hands of Jesus to offer love and support.  Unite your children to form a spiritual connection so those who suffer will feel our compassionate thoughts and loving prayers.    Let your children know that they are not alone in their suffering, but there is a world that cares for them.
