Did you notice our scripture readings the past several days, my friend?  I bring them to your attention because I noticed something rather odd.  We are reading from the book of Job, and the passages all center on hope.  I don’t think of the Book of Job as a book of hope, do you?   Job has many problems with his family dying, losing his livestock, and being inflicted with many diseases.  Somehow Job still finds hope in his life.  Would you be that hopeful if you were in Job’s position?
