Granted, two incomes are better than one. But that alone isn't a fix for decades of policy-making that have exacerbated inequality and undermined the working class; attempted to take away women's control over their own fertility; and made "deaths of despair" an actual phrase in the richest country on Earth. Not to mention anything else you can think of.

If only "Let's get together and feel alright" was enough.
