Hold on to the promise He gave you. Everything God does is FIRMLY ESTABLISHED. We don't have to question what He spoke to us if it aligns with His Word. Trust that His promises for your life WILL come to pass.

Simply hearing the Word of God is not enough. It should move us to action, to do what it says!
How do we handle anger in a way that is righteous? God's way is always better than our way.
What we do with our time matters significantly to God. How do we get away from aimlessly busy schedules to prioritize and pursue things that matter for eternity?
What do we do when life gets hard? When nothing makes sense? When it feels like God isn't there? The key to maturing in Christ is allowing trials to build endurance in our faith. Listen to this episode for encouragement!
Reading the Bible doesn't have to be confusing. Here are some helpful tips (explained in detail in the episode):
- Get a translation that is easy to understand. Here are few that I use: New Living Translation (NLT) New International Version (NIV) God's Word (GW) Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
- Get a commentary Bible.
- Use a Biblical Commentary. I use "Enduring Word."
- Watch "The Bible Project" on YouTube.
Whatever you are facing today, remember that it is temporary! Jesus offers us joy in the midst of difficult situations.
Do our words really matter? Is it really that big of a deal? Listen to this episode to find out what God thinks about the words we choose to say.

If we're not careful, our traditions can get in the way of following Jesus and fully obeying His Word. I needed this reminder today, and maybe you need it too - Jesus is BETTER than our most treasured traditions.

Everything changes when JESUS speaks. He is the only one with true authority to change our lives. Allow Him to speak into your situation today!
Psalm 139:23-24
"Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life."
Sometimes the Lord will lead us to a place where we have no option but to depend on Him - and that's when the miraculous can happen!
"Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
Hebrews 4:16
The need to judge others often comes from insecurity or pride, but Jesus has shown us a better way - LOVE.

Don't let shame isolate you!

Here’s our true security - the Lord’s word isforever, firmly fixed in heaven. He doesn’t change like the shifting shadows.
Psalm 119:89-90 "Lord, your word is forever; it is firmly fixed in heaven. Your faithfulness is for all generations; you established the earth, and it stands firm."
Don't COVET others' callings.
Hebrews 12:1 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,"
We'll begin to see God more when we intentionally LOOK for Him.
Jeremiah 29:13 "If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me."
When we follow Jesus, we experience our BEST life.
Jeremiah 17:9 "The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?"
We can miss what God has for us if we don't have the right SPIRIT.
Numbers 14:24 "But since my servant Caleb has a different spirit and has remained loyal to me, I will bring him into the land where he has gone, and his descendants will inherit it."
The KEY to contentment is Jesus!
Philippians 4:11 "I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances."
God has commanded us to be holy and pure in EVERYTHING we say.
Luke 6:45 "A good person produces good out of the good stored up in his heart. An evil person produces evil out of the evil stored up in his heart, for his mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart."
The best life you can live is a life SURRENDERED to Jesus.
Matthew 10:39 "Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it."
You can grumble or you can be grateful, but you can't do both at the same time...
1 Thessalonians 5:18 "Give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
Regardless of what others speak over you, God speaks life and blessing!
Numbers 6:24-26 “May the Lord bless you and protect you; may the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord look with favor on you and give you peace.”’
Prayer gives us the discernment to know what IS from God!
1 Peter 5:8 "Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour."
We have to look beyond our natural circumstances and put on the lens of FAITH to believe God!
Genesis 15:6 "Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness."
God's promises are often paired with a journey.
Genesis 12:8 "From there he went on toward the hills east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord."
Find a way to ENCOURAGE everyone you encounter today!
1 Thessalonians 5:11a “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up…”
No matter what you've done, God still chooses YOU.
Isaiah 14:1a "For the Lord will have compassion on Jacob and will choose Israel again."
True REST is being refilled by the presence of God.
Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Place my yoke over your shoulders, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble. Then you will find rest for yourselves because my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
It's easy to obey God when we LOVE Him!
Deuteronomy 10:12 "And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you except to fear the Lord your God by walking in all his ways, to love him, and to worship the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul?"
God's BEST is still ahead of you!
Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
When God APPOINTS you, He also EQUIPS you!
2 Peter 1:3 "His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness."
God doesn't expect us to be perfect; He just wants us to keep showing up!
2 Corinthians 12:9 says “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
God's Word transforms our heart and renews our mind. Take a minute to receive from Him today!
Proverbs 3:5-12
Wisdom is knowing what's BEST for others and ourselves.
James 1:5 "If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking."
Taking a step of faith is worth your fear of the unknown. Trust that God is WITH you, and just take the step!
Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him."
Whatever it looks like for you, spend time with the Lord today!
Exodus 39:24 "When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord."
God's GRACE is the place where the end of our strength meets the beginning of God's infinite power! Lean on Him, and ask for that grace today.
