Today I talk with my cousin Sam about his experience as a young male elementary educator in Australia and California and as someone raised by one Aussie parent and one American, half in Australia and half in America. Throughout, we discuss role models, self esteem, and freedom of expression for children as well as authenticity and the changing states of gender norms and acceptance of differing from them.
