We are living in historical times. Governments are vying for power and destroying all that we've built for a foothold over our existence like a tyrant's rule over the peasantry, and if our republic is falling, it's already far beyond that. However, there is still a chance that must begin in our hearts. Kings, Presidents and Rulers are all known in history for their readiness and steadfastness to stand for what's right even at the cost of themselves, and if they are made tyrants, they would take all of the foundation that has been built to bend it to their will. Civilizations are built on the betterment and the legacy of the future to come, and knowing that even if we wanted to seize it all for ourselves, it leaves nothing but brokenness, impoverishment and disgrace to their name.
