FILM & FAITH

This summer at Peace, we will look at a variety of movies – from animated favorites to critical masterpieces to award-winning documentaries. Faith is not something we have in a vacuum. Faith is engaged in the world, in relationship to others, and as a source of meaning and purpose as we discern the good work that God has for us to do.

Movies and film often reflect culture. From analyzing the themes and subjects of this creative art form, we can deepen our understanding of others and gain empathy. And empathy can drive us to serve and love as Christ.
