For years I struggled with procrastination and said “I just work better under pressure.” But what I was really saying to everyone who worked with me, “I don’t care about your time, so let me put off what you need from me.” This simple principle that Mark Twain either did or did not come up with has helped me over the past few years become much more efficient with my time and energy.
