𝑨𝑾𝑨𝑰𝑻! 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝟭𝟮𝟬𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒂𝒄𝒉𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐀𝐇 𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐙𝐕𝐀𝐇 𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐃Episode Six𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿: Maimonides (the Rambam) quotes Pentateuch (Five Books of Moses). Verses but then anchors the Promise of Messianic Redemption in an actual Mitzvah obligation. We've already established that this endows its a greater degree of certainty. In this episode we explore the jurisprudence and advantage of linking our belief in Moshiach to actual Mitzvah Matters, in addition to the power of Prophetic Promises. In adding the Torah's commanding syntax of the Cities of Refuge to the Promising Language of Prophecy, the Rambam makes this foundational element of our Jewish Faith even more immutable.
