Nonchalant is an American rapper from Washington, D.C. She is best known for her 1996 hit single "5 O'Clock", which peaked at #24 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Nonchalant began her music career in the early 1990s and released her debut album, "Until the Day", in 1996. The album received critical acclaim and featured collaborations with the likes of Lauryn Hill and DJ Clark Kent.
