Ca: A través de les finestrals de la biblioteca de l'escola de Montserrat, el sol primaveral banyava suaument les taules plenes d'alumnes preocupats pel treball de fi de curs.
En: Through the large windows of the Montserrat school library, the spring sun softly bathed the tables full of students worried about their end-of-year project.

Ca: A l'interior, el silenci era trencat només pel murmur discret d'unes veus i el rustleig constant de pàgines de llibres.
En: Inside, the silence was broken only by the discreet murmur of a few voices and the constant rustling of book pages.

Ca: Jordi estava assegut a una de les taules, envoltat de llibres d'història.

Ca: Ja estic massa a prop del final i no vull desquadrar el treball.
En: I'm already too close to the end and I don't want to throw the project off balance."

Ca: "Però la idea de Mariona estava allà, arrelada al seu cap.
En: But Mariona's idea was there, rooted in his mind.

Ca: Les llegendes locals sempre havien fascinat als professors, i era cert que aixecarien l'interès dels seus companys.
En: Local legends had always fascinated the teachers, and it was true they would pique their classmates' interest.

Ca: Llavors, Jordi es va mirar els seus llibres de nou.
En: Then, Jordi looked at his books again.

Ca: La biblioteca estava massa plena, el temps se'ls escapava, però va notar que potser una mica de creativitat no aniria malament.
