When a student is learning something new, it is important to keep things simple and build upon simple foundations.  When teaching 5 year olds to read, we spent months working on letter recognition and sounds.  It was simple concepts, but slowly over time we added a little bit more and by the end of the year those amazing 5 year olds were reading!

The same concept applies to all ages.  When you are learning something new or creating a new pattern for success, it is imperative to keep it simple.  You are a student of this new pattern and keeping it simple will be the quickest path to success.

So Keep it Simple Student.
