Today's discussion is about the parents role in education. Brandi Rai is President of the Alberta School Council's Association for almost 3 years. Brandi is committed to ensuring that every child has equitable access to quality education that prepares them to be leaders in our world. As a parent to five school aged children she has a long history of serving on multiple school councils, fundraising societies, and as a frequent volunteer.Aso joining us is Wendy Keiver, she has five adult children and several grandchildren. With a focus on inspiring parents to be true partners in their child's education, Wendy believes that respect for parents as informed and knowledgeable partners and community collaboration are the keys to student success. With her extensive experience working with parents and communities, Wendy is a valuable voice in today's discussion on the importance of parental involvement in education.
