In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m breaking down the real reason consistency feels hard and how to make it easier by designing a plan that’s built around you. Forget the “just be disciplined” mindset. You don’t need to force yourself to follow a plan you don’t enjoy. Instead, I want you to see consistency as a skill you can develop over time by starting with your preferences.
When your eating plan is built around the foods you actually like, and your workouts fit your schedule and ability level, you’re much more likely to stick with them. You don’t need more willpower. You need a system you can follow without mental tug-of-war. That’s where the inside/out approach comes in. It starts with ownership, then leads to sustainability, and finally allows you to make changes as life changes.
We also touch on what it means to see yourself as a consistent person and why that identity shift matters. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be intentional and keep showing up in a way that works for you.
If you’re ready to stop relying on motivation and start becoming consistent for life, this one’s for you!
