A 2003 Furman University graduate and Furman Division 1 soccer player. Matt joined AXA advisors in San Antonio, Texas in 2004.

During his time with AXA, he built a successful financial planning practice with more than 2,500 clients. In 2009, he was promoted to Vice President. Earned his CFP in 2013 and promoted to SVP. In 2015, he became EVP of AXA’s Southeast office in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. He was awarded AXA’s Rookie of the Year, National Award for Strongest Performance.

Core values are essential to Matt. He is keenly focused on empowering, building a culture of high expectations, hard work, and high reward. Perhaps a natural result of this approach is a strong team culture that can’t be touched.

He joined the 49/Financial team to open the Jacksonville, Florida office in March of 2022. He has over 18 years of experience in financial services. Matt approaches life with a “Burn the boats” mentality professionally and personally.
