I don't know how else to say it: Kathleen Hanna is one in a million. Her early work with Bikini Kill and forcing people to hear what she wanted to say to her melodic Le Tigre work that hid messages in dance beats to her current work raising money for girls to get educated in Togo.
I first photographed her many years ago and I have been continually grateful when our paths cross.
