Shannon Hayes, from Sap Bush Hollow Farm, holds a Ph.D. in sustainable agriculture and community development from Cornell University and a bachelor's in creative writing from Binghamton University. She is the author of seven books, including The Grassfed Gourmet, Radical Homemakers, and Redefining Rich. Shannon is also a fantastic unschooling advocate.
