Sam is an extremely accomplished runner and played a crucial role in NC state’s team cross country national title in November where they beat Northern Arizona university by just one point to accomplish the three-peat. Along with that Sam also played a crucial role in the other two team titles. She was also the ACC outdoor 5000 meter champion in 2022 and has many All-American honors. On this episode we discuss how she executed such a good race at nationals despite struggling with injury during the regular season, her aspiration of starting a coffee shop and more.
