Do you have a bookkeeping system in place? Initially, I was disorganized and didn't have a proper system. I procrastinated until the end of the year and burdened my wife with making sense of it all for our accountant. This wasn't fair to her and didn't allow me to establish the long-term systems necessary for growing my business. I wanted to get to the point where I could train a secretary to do my books, but I needed a solid understanding of my books and an established system before doing so.
