James5:1-6

1 Come now, you rich people, weep andhowl for your miseries which are coming upon you.

2 Your riches have rotted, and yourgarments have become moth-eaten.

3 Your gold and your silver havecorroded, and their corrosion will serve as a testimony against you and willconsume your flesh like fire. It in the in the last days you have stored upyour treasure.

4 Behold, the pay ofthe laborers who mowed your fields, and which has beenwithheld by you, cries out against you; and the outcry ofthose who did the harvesting has reached the ears of the Lord ofarmies.

5 You have lived forpleasure on the earth and lived luxuriously; you have fattened your heartsin a day of slaughter.

6 You have condemnedand put to death the righteous person; he offers you no resistance.
