INTIMACY WITH GOD

God told Abraham, “walk before me and be perfect…” (Genesis 17:1)  When Jesus called the first disciples, He said, “follow me and I will make you… “ (Matthew 4:19)  In Ephesians 5:1, “we are encouraged to be followers of God…”  

A Christian is simply a follower of Christ. The strength of our Christian experience is a derivative of our intimacy with God.
