In this session, we explore a very controversial topic in how Isaiah took the road less traveled and chose to follow God thru the dark path rather than taking the easier route in the false light this world presents. In today's environment, the church is being called to walk in darkness with the Lord rather in the lights we have made to shine in place of God. When we must go thru this darkness, we become the light and fear no evil. Light cannot mix with darkness but Satan comes as an angel of light to deceive and we must be aware and choose God's path as Jesus did when he chose the cross over compromise with corruption. We have mixed far too long in the complacency of lesser evils and are being plunged into greater evil and are no longer transforming but conforming to this world and must decide to turn toward God's ways anew for the genuine gospel and its goodness amid much vitriol. We are God's city to shine in this present darkness by the light of love and not hatred and being hospitable rather than hostile toward one another and become in one accord again.

In this episode, we continue reviewing our series in Joel 2 making all the tie-ins between Joel 2 and Acts 2 with tie-ins in the NT to understanding from the beginning how this paradigm we've been tracking will help us better understand what may be taking place in Gen 3:8 and unraveling some of the mystery behind the event we call the Fall. Many have wrapped so much of what they think it implied in the text with their later theology, that the biblical theology which would help one to better read the event gets overlooked. We return to what more likely is being expressed in this passage to give us a much better perspective in which to understand the biblical narrative as a whole rather than reading later thought back into the text, we take what more than likely would have been the author's point of view when the Lord had this initially recorded to convey to the people of that day itself. From their perspective, we can then begin to understand better what it means for us today.

Here, we explore further the concepts from Gen 3 and what we did with Rom 5:12 to show how Christians can fellowship in God's intended rest in the now despite what we face until we experience its fulness in the final consumption of Christ's return in the Parousia.

Here, we explore Romans 5:12 considering what we have thus far studied in Joel's prophecy and Gen 3:8 about they lived through fire. Now, we bring life to a dead world in mission.
