This first week, I want to talk about blood sugar. As you are aware, high circulating levels of blood sugar are unhealthy. Why? Because it begins to chemically react with surrounding cells and with the linings of your blood vessels in a way that is damaging.

Prolonged damage to blood vessels is the reason for the severe problems seen in diabetes -- heart attacks and strokes, kidney damage, nerve damage, poor wound healing, and poor circulation (amputation).

Cinnamon can do wonders to naturally and effectively lower your blood sugar. Turns out that cinnamon helps your cells become more sensitive to existing insulin levels and also mimics insulin all on its own. I have seen patients take their blood sugars from the 300s to the 180s just with consistent daily use!

One teaspoon once a day is sufficient; or, if you use capsules, aim for 2000-3000 mg a day, taken after meals. The type of cinnamon does not matter: use whatever is most cost-effective.
