How we created movement that has transcended generations. 6 Mile is apart me and so many other people. The Mile Road System of Detroit was implement by the government with the Land Ordinance of 1785. Once an underdog of the more popular 7 Mile Rd, 6 Mile has come to the forefront via published popular Detroit street style rap music. 8 Mile the social & political borderline of Detroit was generally considered the weakest of the Mile Roads, but has become extremely popular throughout the world with the movie 8 Mile starring Detroit artist Eminem.
