Today, we are joined by retired police officer Chris Hoyer, who is a protector, survivor, and advocate for mental, physical, and emotional wellness. After 20 plus years as a street cop, facing some of the worst scores imaginable, he has now turned his focus to public speaking and helping the law enforcement community prepare for the traumas that come with the job. He has spoken to thousands, including first responders, mental health professionals, and various professional entities sharing his story and hopes to saving lives. After honorably retiring, he resides in San Diego where he now runs his own training and consulting company. He is also the author of "When That Day Comes".
