Wisdom is penetrating insight into the way things are and the highest knowledge of spiritual truth attainable by humans. It is in this sense that it is a quality of enlightenment. When wisdom is said to be 'attained' and not just 'known,' it implies active investigation and learning rather than passive intellectual understanding.
God is the source of all wisdom, knowledge, and understanding (James 1:5), so it only makes sense to turn to Him when we have a question or encounter something new. The Bible promises us that we have “hidden treasures” in Christ (Colossians 2:2). The Holy Spirit gives us wisdom and revelation (1 Corinthians 2:12-16). As we read Scripture, God fills us with His Spirit, who gives us wisdom.

The Foundation of Faith The foundation of faith is the belief that God is real. There are many different religions, but the common thread is their belief in God—a being more significant than us and all-powerful. The foundation of faith also includes a belief in angels and demons, heaven and hell, and a final judgment after death.
Faith's foundation allows people to connect with God and His divine plan for our lives.
The Commandments are the foundation of our faith, but we also need to keep them in our hearts. The heart is a powerful (organ) thing. It can be a source of great joy and inspiration, but it can also be a source of great pain and distress.
Commandments Keeping God's commandments in our hearts helps keep us connected to the Lord. His commandments are given for our benefit and to help keep us safe and happy at every step of life.
The same is true for our minds: we can use them to do incredible things, or we can allow them to get stuck in destructive thought patterns that keep us from reaching our goals and achieving genuine happiness.

The Bible teaches principles of wise living. Wise living is a great thing. It's something we all want to do and should strive for. But there are so many ways to live wisely, and not all are the same.
The one thing that does seem to be true about wise living is that it involves Jesus Christ. Whether you're talking about the Bible or other religions, intelligent people seem to have a relationship with Christ.
Wise Living Practice It includes your eating, physical fitness, spiritual practices and beliefs, and more. The goal is to live a life that aligns with your values and beliefs.
Jesus Christ was a wise teacher who lived and taught his followers how to do the same.
According to the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus said: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment." (Matthew 22:37-38)
This means that we must love God above all else to live wisely.

Wisdom has sight Wisdom lets you see the best in others and makes you better able to forgive those who have hurt you—and it's also what helps you know when it's time to move on from relationships (or anything) that are no longer good for your soul.
Realization Wisdom realizes that there is always more than one side to every story; it knows when to hold your tongue and when to speak up for what's right; wisdom helps you discern between what's good for you and what isn't; it enables you to understand when something isn't meant for your growth or benefit, so then you can let go of it without regret or guilt.

The Path of Unrighteousness When the flow of biblical doctrine is deviated from, it is said to be following the path of the unrighteous.
The Bible is a book that contains both good news and life straightening news. The good news is that God loves us, and He has given us a way to have a relationship with Him. The bad news? If we don't accept His offer of salvation, we are headed for eternal punishment in hell (here on Earth).
But there's more good news! Jesus died on the cross so that those who accept His sacrifice can avoid going to hell and instead spend eternity with Him in heaven.
The path of righteousness The path of righteousness can be difficult to navigate, but it's not impossible.
If you find yourself off the path and feeling frustrated by your choices, here are some tips for getting back on track:
- Get away from the situation. If you're struggling with temptation or feeling frustrated, the best thing to do is get away from it all. You don't have to go far—just go into another room or take a walk around the block. This will give you time to think about what's going on and decide how you want to handle it in the future.
- Ask a friend for help. Your friends may not know what's going on with you, but they can still be helpful when they see that something is wrong. They might tell you that they've been through similar situations before, or they might ask questions that help put things into perspective for you. Just remember that whatever advice they give is coming from their own experiences; if something doesn't feel right or asking another, don't do it!
- Remember why this matters in the first place! One of the worst things about being off track is that it feels like everything is falling apart—but this isn't true! You have control over where your life goes next; just keep it moving.
The path given In summary, the path of righteousness is not a path that we take, but rather one that we are given. It is a path with many twists and turns, but it is also a path with many blessings along the way. We must continue to focus on our goals and follow our dreams while also keeping in mind that there will be times when we feel alone or discouraged-God in you is always there. We must also remember that there are people who love us, who believe in us, and who want us to succeed. If we can keep this in mind as we navigate this world full of trials and tribulations, then we will surely find ourselves on the path of righteousness.

Proverbs Proverbs is a book of wisdom that is relatively short (31 chapters). It is an excellent resource for those who want to learn about the Bible and wisdom but don't know where to start.
Various proverbs In the first chapter you'll find 13 different sayings. They are categorized into three groups—Short Sayings, Wise Sayings, and Words of the Wise—and will leave you with important insight about life simply: to live well, you must do what is right, and to do what is right, you must be wise.
Being wise The wise person is one who "fears the Lord" (Proverbs 1:7), meaning that his basic philosophy of life revolves around an understanding of God and His will. Having this kind of outlook implies that one has given their life to God as a gift, frees them from being dependent on the material things in life.
Valuable Proverbs The Holy Bible book of Proverbs is some of our most valuable and enduring pieces of wisdom. The ancient Hebrew sages were a wise lot, and they didn't miss a trick when it came to telling it like it was. Ready to hear what they have to say? Here are some of the most insightful proverbs from—the first book in the collection that bears its name.
"A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and loving favor is better than silver or gold." (Proverbs 22:1)
"A fool finds no pleasure in understanding but delights in airing his own opinions." (Proverbs 18:2)
"When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom." (Proverbs 11:2)
There are many other exciting sayings just like these that offer invaluable guidance and insight into how we can make our lives meaningful. Proverbs 1 is particularly insightful because it allows us to experience our emotions. We don't have to ignore or suppress the various feelings we have, even if those feelings are uncomfortable or painful. Instead, we can acknowledge them, learn from them, and let them pass entirely through us while learning something valuable.
Reading the Bible There is a reason why wisdom is considered one of the most valuable things in life-its it makes all things possible. Today take the time to search through this book of wise sayings, and you'll be able to make things happen in your life. It's full of advice that will help you overcome every obstacle in your way!

Hope. It's a powerful thing.
Hope can make the impossible seem possible and make the most painful situations bearable. But it's hard to find hope in a world full of suffering and pain; it can be downright impossible. And yet, there is hope for us all.
The Bible is full of examples of people who found hope amid their trials, and this podcast episode explores the essence of hope in Christ:
Joseph - The story of Joseph teaches us that no matter how bad things get, God always has something good in store for you. Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers, thrown into prison for years, and forgotten by his family - but he never gave up hope! After Joseph's release, he became one of Pharaoh's top advisors and saved millions during a famine.
Esther - Esther reminds us that God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things! Esther risked her life to save her people from genocide at the hands of King Xerxes' evil uncle Haman. She even went so far as to risk death rather than disobey God!
Hope is a virtue that everyone needs in their life. We need hope for spiritual strength and courage to continue in tough times.
Hope is one of the most blessed gifts given to us by God.
Hope is something we may keep with us, no matter what occurs.
May we always remember that hope springs eternal. The scriptures not only tell us of difficult times but also of a God who is not silent in the midst of them. God is present in the world, and His love abounds as He redeems our suffering into eternal joy everlasting.

One of the things I love about Confessing is that it's a secret place where people can be honest about their faith and themselves. It is crucial to talk about your beliefs and ask questions and get answers, especially when it's so easy to get caught up in all the noise around us in this day and time.
Confession is difficult, but it's an integral part of overcoming barriers.
When we confess to God, we tell God and ourselves that we are worthy of being known and loved for who we are by Him.
Instead of keeping our struggles and successes secret, we can share them with others who care about us - opening our hearts- letting LOVE flow.
Here are some ideas to help you have a fruitful conversation with God. I believe in God and in confessing my sins-faults-unbeliefs-failures-disappointments.
I believe God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-loving and has the best plan for my life.
I believe that God is merciful, and He is all about forgiveness.
I believe that there is only one true God, who created the universe and everything within it, and He is in the very breath we take.
I believe God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for the world's sins so that He could forgive us if we genuinely repent.
There are many ways to develop your walk with God. One way is by reading the Bible. The Bible is the word of God, and it tells us how we can have a relationship with him. Another way is by praying. The more you pray, the closer you'll feel to God because he listens when you talk to him.
You don't have to do all the work, though.

In the Kingdom of Christ, spiritual growth is a process of internalizing new beliefs and values and moving from dependence on external sources of meaning to personal responsibility for one's life.
Spiritual growth is not a quick process but occurs over time and with effort.
Spiritual growth does not happen in isolation; it involves relationships with others. One can experience spiritual growth by being part of a church community or another organization that provides support and encouragement. It also happens through interactions with family members and friends who offer encouragement and support.
Spiritual growth isn't always easy or comfortable, but it's always worth it.
Here are five ways to grow spiritually: 1) Read your Bible every day
2) Pray every day
3) Attend church every week or more
4) Take time for self-reflection and meditation on spiritual truths
5) Ask God for wisdom
First and foremost, no single checklist can be used to determine spirituality. However you might identify yourself, your relationship—or lack thereof—with spirituality is at the core of your identity. There is no better person to ask about it than yourself. And as an outer-appearance-based world continues to assault us every day with pop-culture analyses of what constitutes being "spiritual," I hope that this little article will help us all remember one simple truth when it comes to spirituality: only you and God truly know what it means for you.

Romans 9 is about stumbling against Christ and being saved by His grace.
First, let's talk about what "stumbling against Christ" means. It means that you know the right way to go, but you're going in the wrong direction. You've been taught the truth in Christ—and maybe even experienced it in your own life—but somehow, you've gotten off track and are doing things that don't align with what God wants for you.
So what do we do when this happens? How can we get back on track? Paul says that salvation comes when we choose to believe Jesus died on our behalf and rose again so that we can be forgiven and reconciled with God. It's not something we deserve or work for; it's a gift from God, freely given through faith in Christ alone.
Despite our struggles and setbacks, there's always hope. Jesus made sure of this. We hope that you'll find encouragement in Romans 9.

Welcome to this episode of Romans 2!
In this chapter, Paul talks about what happens when we choose to live as God intends. He says you'll be rewarded with glory, honor, and peace if you do good things. God is not a man that he would lie! (Num.23:19)
But Paul also talks about what happens when you choose to live an immoral life—and it's pretty scary stuff. He says that those who don't follow God can expect to be judged by God (Rom. 2:5).
Being and doing good is pretty straightforward. It takes a little effort and intentionality, but it rewards the giver and the giftee.
First, you must believe that a higher power is watching over you—something more powerful than yourself—and you need to think constantly about the good reasons why he loves and wants to help you. Then, you must decide what actions are best to take to please him. Finally, you need to do those things! It's as simple as that! Imagine the whole world taking this approach!
To the believers who read this post, I would like to challenge you to take these words seriously. Then thank God for his unfailing love for you. Thank him for all the ways he has loved you in the past. Thank him for all he's doing in your life today.

This episode includes Romans 1
Romans shows a story of understanding and faith. It's a fantastic book, full of incredible stories of people who have chosen to follow God and live their lives in his image. There are no perfect people in the Bible—just stories of humans trying to do their best with what they had at the time. We all have our struggles and doubts, but we also can choose love over hate, forgiveness over anger, and truth over lies.
Paul continues about what it means to have faith in God. He talks about how the Jewish people believed that their only way out of slavery was to wait for a Messiah who would free them from Roman rule.
But Paul argues that this is not true for the Gentiles. He says that Jesus is the Messiah, and believers can be set free from sin through him by having faith in him.
Paul says this because he wants us to understand that our relationship with God is personal. We don't need anyone else's help or permission to get closer to God—to get our mind in the right place - to step into victory and success - to claim health or whatever else we desire - we have to reach out and go for it!
Paul helps us see our struggles and gives us hope for overcoming them by showing us a way to God through Christ Jesus.

Today's lesson is essential for us all to hear because it describes the tools we should use against the devil's attacks and how to stand against evil forces.
As a precious child of God, you will notice spiritual entities everywhere, so be ready to defend your soul! Finding out who you are in Christ is crucial to triumph in spiritual warfare.
Here's the key: pray and ask God for protection.
We have power in Christ Jesus over all the forces of darkness for them not to prevail. When we call upon the name of Jesus, He hears us and cares for our well-being; He'll come and set us free from whatever is bothering us or causing us problems according to His will.
You must practice staying in prayer for yourself and your loved ones, asking for God's protection and wisdom wherever you may be at any given time.
Living in fear is a passive option. To live a life of peace, truth, righteousness, and faith, you must know the Word of God.
The Word of God is our living power.
We need to know His Word to walk in the Spirit, not the flesh.
If you have lost your passion for the Word, pick it up and read it daily.
If you've been neglecting Bible study, start rereading and studying the life of Jesus again!
There are many different ways to study the Scriptures-Jesus wants you back: 1) Read as a devotional. 2) Read one book at a time; perhaps use one of the many study resources I currently have available on Amazon! 3) Purchase a concordance to do word studies on any passage; this activates full engagement of the scriptures and what they are honestly saying about you and your life.

In the beautiful book of Ephesians, chapter 5, Paul lays out some pretty big ground rules for living in a time of miracles and divine wonders.
He emphasizes that we should be living with a sense of responsibility toward one another—that we must take care of each other and love each other as much as we can.
Paul also describes how we are to live in a community with God himself. He says that there is no need for us to be afraid or ashamed if we are doing what is right because God himself will be our guide.
Paul lays out some heavy ground rules for how we should behave living in a time when God is working in our lives. Sure we want all the miracles and divine wonders, but we should strive for holiness in our lives- a life set apart from sin-holding tight to kindness, patience, peace, goodness, and faithfulness.
He talks about walking in love, not being arrogant or prideful, and being thankful. We can't forget to be grateful because it keeps us humble and God "giveth more grace unto the humble" (James 4:6).
And then there's the phrase: "Walk by faith." That's a significant one! It means we have faith in God and believe He can do anything.
Today's Prayer: May we continue to seek to understand what the Lord wants. May we be filled with the Spirit to discern His will for our lives. May we have the faith to act on those things revealed to us by the Lord, and may we have the courage to obey Him. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

What's your favorite road trip?
You know the one when you're driving with your best friend, and you're laughing so hard that you can't catch your breath. Possibly it's the trip when you are in the car with your family, singing along to your favorite songs.
When we travel with God, we can and do have a fantastic time! We get to see what He is doing and how He works in our lives and the world around us. And believers can't help but get excited about where God is taking us next!
When we're in the middle of our journey, it's hard to see what lies ahead.
But if we take the time to look back on the road behind us, we'll discover that God has been leading us very well all along.
Ephesians 4:1-6 is a beautiful passage of scripture that reminds us that we are God's children and that He is our Father in heaven. When we think of God as our Father, we want to do everything we can to please Him and let Him lead and take the reins.
The Apostle Paul says in verse 1: "Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called." KJV
I love this part because it tells us precisely what we need to do with our lives if we want to please God.
We can't just sit around - wish and wait for Him to give us something to do. We need to be actively involved in following after Him, doing what pleases Him rather than doing those things that please ourselves or others around us.

God's plan is for everyone so that we can be saved (1 Timothy 2:4).
How does God want to change your life?
How do you want your life to be on a spiritual level? It can feel like something is missing or that we'll never get to where we want to go. You may have even felt like the only way out of those feeling is to give up and quit, but don't! Do NOT QUIT! Give God a chance! God has a better plan —and it starts with knowing Him.
From birth, we are spiritually dead (Ephesians 2:1). We have sinned against God and lost our relationship with Him (Romans 3:23). When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He forgives us. God restores our relationship with Him by giving power to those who believe in Jesus Christ (John 1:12).
Are you seeking specific answers about Jesus Christ and how He can change your life? May I tell you that frequent Bible reading is the secret key to unlocking the mysteries of Christ!
In Ephesians 3, Paul teaches us that God has a plan for our lives and wants to ensure we get it by following His plan and obeying Him.
The Law of The Lord is not just a list of rules to keep us from doing what we want. Instead, they are guidelines to get us through life in the way God chooses, in Divine ways we never expect!
That's what the Bible teaches us, and we believe it to be true. But it's not just a truth we can feel, touch, taste, and see—it's a truth that we can live out.
When you come to God, He will welcome you with open arms and change your life forever. You'll be able to see things in a new light, and you'll start to realize that God has no limit on His provisions!
The best part? He made the perfect way for us to be forgiven and restored even if we can't justify why or how! Just ask the Lord into your heart today by praying:
"God, I know I have sinned against you; please forgive me. I know that I need you in my life. I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins, rose again on the third day, and is seated at your right hand. I know that by trusting, committing, and believing in Jesus, I can come to you so that I could have eternal life with you in Heaven." Amen

The barriers that kept us out of God's kingdom are permanently removed; Come as you are. God doesn't want religious people; He wants real people like you and me-GLORY! We are now the legal kingdom's heirs because of Jesus' sacrifice on our behalf.
We can boldly approach God with the confidence that we have His approval and acceptance because of what Jesus Christ has already done for us. Rather than focusing on the things of the earth, we can focus on God and how he has revealed to us in Jesus Christ the way to everlasting life.
The Bible tells us that we have been given an inheritance because of Jesus' death and resurrection. And it's not some far-off fairy tale kind of inheritance––it's real estate. It's here on earth, in the city of God, in the New Jerusalem, where God lives with His people!
From this moment until our last breath, nobody and nothing will ever be able to shut this inheritance out of your reach. And it's not just for the intelligent or the excellent, but for all humble enough to receive it. If you belong to Christ by faith, you are a citizen of Heaven.
There is no delay or wait time; you don't have to go through a lengthy process; as soon as you are born again by believing in Christ, and your need for Him in your life, and what He has done for you -you become an heir! Our citizenship is in Heaven! And we're awaiting our Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.

In Ephesians 1 KJV, Paul helps us to understand the importance of living with a new mindset. He explains that the Gospel isn't something we can grasp on our own, but it's what delivers us from our sin quickly. He also teaches that salvation is not just a one-time event. It's something we must learn every day of our lives through the knowledge of God and His power.
The Bible tells us we live for Christ every day. But, do you honestly believe it is this practical? Can we do this in all aspects of our lives? I say yes and want to share two reasons why God's power is present, active, and influential daily.
The living God is continually and actively engaged in the world.
The fact that He has:
- Provided Scripture
- Given us Means of Grace
The world is not waiting for a new revelation or intervention from God; instead, it is impacted by the ever-present God around us daily.
Whether you're going through a hard time, can't stop procrastinating, are finding it difficult to trust God again, or know something's missing in your life and you think that maybe there's more to life but aren't quite sure yet — I pray that you find it today! Read the Bible for your answers.
It's important to live for Christ every day, not just when you feel like it. We all should recognize our strengths and weaknesses and strive to improve daily; it is simple.
It's not too late for you, brothers and sisters! Regardless of how far you've drifted, now is the time to return to Him, time to change. God loves you, no matter what. Listen, God did the impossible for me and can do the same for you. It may not happen overnight, but it can happen today.

The short and lovely book of Ruth is a story about justice, tragedy, love, loyalty and loss, and the redemption of widows and kings. It's about how God works for the good of His people and doesn't let even death keep Him from fulfilling his promises.
Ruth was an unlikely hero. From a family who worshipped false idols, Ruth became part of a time-honored biblical tale that still influences people today. Yet many have never heard of her story. When she first arrived in Bethlehem, things looked bleak. Ruth's husband died, leaving her destitute, on the outskirts of town and with the stigma of being a foreigner who was now an "extended family" with Naomi and Elimelech. As we read together in this podcast, Ruth's circumstances were looking unfortunate, yet God was able to turn rejections into blessings and new beginnings!
This biblical story illustrates how Ruth and Naomi were both rejected. Naomi was abandoned by her people when her husband died. Ruth was a strong woman of faith. Throughout her hardships, she held onto the promises of God and refused to give up even though rejection was her lot with the order by her mother-in-law (Naomi) to return home.
God can be depended upon to uphold all His promises and fulfill His purpose in our lives. Everyone faces trials in life. Trials can be as much a part of life as breathing or eating. However, it's critical to your faith that you know that God is faithful and He will never leave you or forsake you.
Throughout the Bible, and even before, God has demonstrated steadfast faithfulness and His unchangeable nature. Long before we could understand, God promised to love us. Through our many trials in life, God has remained true to His word. This podcast ends with the final chapter of the book of Ruth; we have looked at several of God's promises from the Bible and how He fulfills every one of them without fail in Ruth's life.

I love today's episode of Ruth 2 KJV. It reminded me of the power of our voice.
Ruth was a foreigner and used her voice to advocate for herself and be bold about her goal of marrying Boaz. She didn't stay silent or let others tell her what to do. I'm so inspired by how she spoke up and boldly asked Boaz to marry her—even though it wasn't an easy quest for her to do.
I think many people are afraid to advocate for themselves or others, but we can use our voices in positive ways that create change. The Psalms are timeless and universal, full of hope and comfort.
This episode includes Psalm 148-150 KJV, the last three Psalms.
The last three Psalms of the Bible read as a sort of wrap-up of creation, with praise for God as Creator and Sustainer and prayers for restoration of His design in the wake of humankind's sins in the previous chapters.
Psalm 148 begins with an exclamation of joy at how wonderful the world is: "Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens—praise Him in the heights!" As this Psalm continues, we see a picture of God as Creator and Sustainer: "He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name." It's a reminder that as God works on our behalf, he's working in concert with his creation-US. We have our role to play, too; this Psalm also asks us to praise God for everything he does for us daily, for everything that he allows us to experience regularly.
As we consider all that God has given us, this Psalm reminds us to appreciate it and give thanks—and then it turns its attention toward sinfulness. The second half of this Psalm is a prayer for restoration after sin has corrupted our world: "Restore us, O Lord, that your people may rejoice in you."

The Great Physician-Jesus paid for our sins. Christ Jesus came to our world and gave us life; He changed everything. He removed death and sin from our lives forever. This is a reality! We don't have to fear that one day we will die and there is nothing else to do with our lives or anyone else's. Jesus will never leave or forsake us because He is in YOU- His love is eternal.

Friends, I have been running the race living a life with Christ for a long time, over 30 years, and may I can tell you that life is HARD and so very sweet!
It's not always easy to be the kind of person God wants us to be. We struggle with temptation, and we fall sometimes. We can get frustrated when things don't go our way, and we get sad when things are hard. Sometimes we feel like nobody understands us—not even God himself!
But I believe that God has a plan for each of us and that his love for you and me is more than we can comprehend. He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Who says that we need to be perfect? We don't need to wait until we are perfect before coming to Him with our problems; it's often better if we don't wait! He wants us to commune with Him as we are—the good and bad parts—because He loves us just as much in our imperfections as when we're doing well. And He wants us to know Him more deeply than anyone else in this world so that we can love others unconditionally, too (1 John 4:7-21).
Today, I pray that all listeners worldwide know that God's grace is enough to help us make it through. And when we feel weak and lonely, the Word of God has the best answers for us. Even if we feel like we can't do another thing right or that nothing we can do will make us suitable for God to love and bless us, He works in us without realizing it.
If you are ready to get right with God, let's do something now to make it so; say this short prayer- for Christ's return:
"My God, I'm so sorry for what I've done. I'm ashamed of my sins, and I feel lost without you. Please come back. Please come back and help me. My soul is overwhelmed with guilt; my mind is heavy and burdened, bowed down and discouraged. But I keep waiting for you to save me. I know that you love me and have saved me now, and I accept you in my life."
I know that God is close to the brokenhearted; he saves the crushed in spirit. God holds the oppressed in his arms and gives them hope for the future.
Psalm 142-144 MSG is about how God's people are often overwhelmed by the wickedness of their enemies. The scriptures remind us that God is there for us, even when times get tough. We know that because He never fails to deliver on His promises.
He will protect you from evil and keep you safe from the wicked (Psalm 145:20). And when you are weak and helpless, He will help you (Psalm 116:6).
He is good to all who call on Him—yes, all who call on Him sincerely (Psalm 145:21).
