Today we went to race square in my home city Rotterdam.
My boy had his birthday today and this was his surprise.
I made this new ecency blog using the new possibility to upload videos with ecency and 3speak. I love that it’s so easy.
I will do a blog tomorrow with my views.When you are born into a race fanatic family, racing is in your blood.
My sons ( all 3 ) race ESPORTS that is, and kart outside when they can. The rest of us watch the races both online and live in front of the tv. In Rotterdam there is a esports center with a possibility to be Max Verstappen and drive a cart that moves 3D and has cockpit view. The screens can project every circuit the real racers also race except Las Vegas. That will be there in 2024.
Our son drove, Abu Dhabi and Belgium , he could choose the one he wanted to race. Its a joy to see him do what he loves. When our kids are happy we are happy. Due to the holiday this was our celebration. The family is all still on holiday but he is over the moon.
If you ever have the chance to race like this, go for it you will love it, and maybe you will go and appreciate racing as much as we do.
In three weeks the new Grand Prix will be in my country the Netherlands , on Zandvoort. I will meet you there @melinda010100

HiveFest attendees are counting the hours. First it was weeks now its 3 days or about 72 hours.
For many that means last call for tickets, sleeping arrangements and making plans to meet up, checking airports and trains and finally hug again. The telegram group is working overtime and i gues many are practicing their jeu de boules tactics.
I am not ready yet but getting there, and I can tell you that the blue will be visable, as a tribute-thank-you
to @ecency for awarding me the hivefestticket. so that means sewing up my business.
Today the final needle strokes were made and all is finished. Tomorrow the last piece I need will arrive and I can pack. The weather is not that great but you never know and a poncho or umbrellas doesn't take up that much space in the suitcase.

Sirmione is an land tongue - peninsula island, which is accesable trough the wooden bridge infront of the castle. We always try to visit and eat an icecream at one of the many gelaterias. Its a peninsula with great photography places, i love to go and also they gahve benaculars to see the lake from up close. ofcourse the castle is beautiful aswell.
I wrote about it before, but the water in the lake is very low. About 70-80 cm lower than normal, so also around the island its visible. the walls have the different lines of the water level, and the plants are not under water anymore. We see the differencebecause we visit every year. The beauty is still there and with ferragosto week ithe bridge you see at the beginning was very crowded, but this is the place where everyone enters the island. There is a possibility to enter with car. only when you live there, ( about 5500 people ) or you stay in one of the spa hotels.
I know one of them has a sulfur place that is great for the skin. I never tried it because the hotels are very expensive. Again this is a beautyof a place to visit. we took the boat but there is a ferry option aswell, but you can also take the car and park in one of the many big car parkings before you enter the center. The costs are about 8 euros a day if I remember correcly from last year and than the walk is about 15-20 minutes to the bridge.
Ofcourse there were many cool cars aswell, from the rich and famous. I will share the wheels in another blog. Enjoy the video I made entereing sirmione by foot and ending in the small church near the entrance to light a candle for our loved ones.

As promised my vlog about the harbour in TorriThis is some of the text i wrote in my blog three days ago, for you that missed the blog.
So part of this text is used in the blog about Torri del Benaco
Torri is near the mountain Monte Baldo, famous to many Italy lovers including us and hopefully the mountain we will do a hike this week aswell. And to many people a must do and see when you visit the travel pages on internet for this region. I think there even is a cycling route that tales you to the top. Torri del Benaco is also a place you can visit by the Garda ferry. Like I blogged about when we did the ferry holiday on Lake Como last year. Ferry’s are the quickest way to cross the lakes if there is no boat.
As I said we have been to Torri del Benaco before , it is a small village in region of Veneto. The olive trees and the cobble stones give that typical italy feeling. Veneto is also the region really nice wines are from. We love lake Garda and we have been to Torri del Benaco and every time the castle remains you see when you enter the small harbour is really beautiful. I made a picture but the felling and the view is even more beautiful in real life.
The fact that i love Italy is why i want to visit every year. The people are very nice and always helpful. The fact that the food is amazing.
I will be doing some more vlogs about the different harbours and the feeling they have. The water in lake garda is very low so the accessibility to the cay is not that great in all places. that is a challege for docking the harbour but also for leaving a boat.

The boys watched the training yetserday and today was another race at teh sim race unit in Utrecht.
Its the weekend of the grand prix of Hungary and they are ready. its fun to see that grand prix racing and sim racing is
picking up and that they are having fun. In Holland its becasue of Max Verstappen I
think but also because we have a certified track aswell. Zandvoort is a great place
and won the hart froom more race lovers. These sim race places also win with it
because every birthday party is a chance to go again.
So what are your plans this weekend.

Italy is almost there, that made me wander off at the desk to italy and the way we
spend many holidays there already.It also made me miss my parents.
They reside in Italy aswell. So i decided to share a vlog I made from the last time we visited Siena.
I think every summer the center of a festival full of traditions. there are horse races through the city streets, and
teh 17 different states of the city celebrate their honour by showing their silk flags.
They also compeed for ythe poplar bokale prize you can win.
they are all in their traditional costumes and we enjoyed the parade very much.
we ate at the central piazza and vieuwed all the magnificent buildings and houses.
hope you like the vlog, just as much i liked the visit to this beautiful lady city.

Dutch seagulls are the kings of the beach, they are so cheeky. when its tide the find little
crabs and plankton to eat. The fact that this is the best and easy way to find food, is why they are
there with many. its a nice view and the sound af them "talking" and the southing sound of the
waves is why i wanted to do this video.
Place is Scheveningen Haven near the lighthouse and near the pier.
we love going to the beach and with the weather in our country the last few days thats
a fun thing to do.

I love flying. I love the world above the clouds, and the silence. I made a vlog while flying from Italie back to Amsterdam. Ofcourse you hear the
other passengers but when you focus on the fact we are in a world we dont know full of flufy
clouds and beautiful blue. Its amazing and i feel so blessed to be able to travel this way.
We also decend to fly above the green Holland has to offer.
Green, White and Blue all layered in one frame.
i take you up in the air and we will land together in Amsterdam.
For those of you that have not had the opportunity to fly on a plane,
its amazing.

We went to the national museum of antiquities and art in Leiden Holland. The fact that they have a permanent exhibition about Egypt and all there is to know about the ancient egyption myths and ways in history and time, is somtime we wanted to share with the kids. The rituals are so,well though over and we still ahve things nowadays that come from thise times.
The mummie section is huge. The museum has many exhibitions under one roof, and you buy one ticket and can see all of tehm. we did three, but stayed at this part of the museum on a separate floor the longest. The history lesson in school sprung this idea for a visit and the fact that a school task was attached was cool because this way we made it a family effort.
The museum is open daily from 10 oclock till 17.00. We have a museum card and the kids pay 4 euro so besides the parking fees it was a cheap day of history and very much needed us time.

When we were on holiday, we had to find a place for the dogs. They always go to the same place and I know they are in good hands. But after 3 weeks without them i am always so glad to go and get them home. This time I made two videos. The one above is the actual moment when the two big men come running. Setters are so enthousiastic they almost ran us over. Here is a link extra from when we arrived.
Our family is complete again, and the love from them to us is thank god still there. On to home now and give them some food.

Today we went to visit Sirmione in Italy and it was so beautiful, eventhough it wasn’t great weather all day, that I wanted to do a first vlog. A first for me in @3speak. And for the first time with my voice. I have to see how this and the upload will go because now we have thunder here but I hope you like my first.
