As Sedevacanists, we have a DUTY not just to acknowledge the faults of the pre Vatican II council Catholic Church, but try to REPAIR them!
The importance of being taking responsibility for YOURSELF and taking initiative in the spiritual life is going to aid the remnant of the True Catholic Church in the future. This is a long episode, if necessary break it up into chunks.
Sacramentals, devotionals and prayers are like any tool, they're only as effective as the user.

I am really grateful for the pre Vatican II council teaching of independence of conscience, within the parameter of pre Vatican II council Catholism Dogma and Doctrine.
God makes everyone as a unique individual. We are given graces for Salvation, however we must ACCEPT them.
Everyone who accepts these graces takes their own individual path to get to God's One Truth.
