A show to tell the stories of Hendrick Hudson High School, Montrose, Buchanan, Verplanck, the Hen Hud territories, its people, together as 1.
We discussed real UFO sightings from Hen Hud Sailors form the 1980s, at which time The Hudson Valley experienced a series of UFO sightings from 1982 - 1989. Joining me we're cohosts Karen Quinn and Stewart Muir, guests were Audrey Harer Stejskal, Merle Mascaro, Marc LaMash, Paul Davis, and Sean Bleakley!

Ken talks to us about his life as an athlete, coach at Hen Hud, including coaching 3 of his daughters, the balancing act that was, and the force multiplier the his daughters were in understanding the challenges experienced by HS girls who were his athletes.
Ken also talks at length about Coach Ahrens, the 5 women being inducted into the HH Hall of Fame, and the significant leaps we've made in women's sports since Title IX!

3 Sport star at Hen Hud in Football, Basketball, and Baseball, Bruce Fulgum was the first player on school history to score 1000 points in hoops and is one of 3 now. Bruce has made it his personal mission to memorialize star running back Henry Bethea and the other Hen Hudders lost in the Viet Nam war. Bruce is owner of the wildly successful home of Hen Hudders old and young, Fulgum's Bar in Montrose, NY. It was an honor to spend an hour with Bruce, he'll be back with us again!
Chef, CIA graduate, Hen Hud 85er, and hilariously funny and engaging Marc LaMash joined us on Making Waves along with Special Guest Cohost Todd Casablanca! We talked about the genesis of his professional cooking career, his UFO sighting, crazy Hen Hud stories, and more :) #WeAreHenHudWeAre1!

Dr. David Frey is a graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School Class of 85, Dartmouth University, and Professor of History at West Point Military Academy. He’s written extensively on WWII, the Holocaust, and was featured on the 60 minutes documentary about “The Ritchie Boys” of WWII (Jewish-German expats who escaped the Nazi’s to emigrate to the USA, join the Army and return to face the Nazi’s on the battlefield while educating the U.S. Forces on German culture, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
