Discover your true strength from these three bodweight excersises that can truly optimize your fitness performance.

In this video, I'm doing three of my favorite bodyweight exercises that can cover up for a whole-body workout.

Hanging Leg-raiseThis core exercise not only helps build abdominal strength, but it also strengthens your grip, hip flexors, shoulder and with this muscle groups it can greatly help you to excel to perform to other exercises.

There are many variations of Hanging Leg-raise that anyone can do, from basic to advance, and on this video, I'm trying engaging more on my core muscle while controlling my leg movements side-to-side.

The Pull-upsPull up exercise in my opinion is the true test of strength! Since this is the only exercise that requires you to pull almost 100% of your weight.

Currently, I am weighing at 69 Kg +/- and can only perform 6 to 8 clean reps and my goal here is to increase it to 15 repetition per set and in order for me to do that every gym day, I include this workout to my warp up.

Pull ups exercise not only help build definition to your lateral muscle, but also to your shoulder, biceps, and (personally) gives out explosive strength to help perform better in other physical exercises

DipsOne of my favorite workout that can target three different muscle group with two variations.

Doing it on an upright position I can target and strengthens my triceps
Doing it by slightly leaning forward, the exercise tend to focus on my lower chest and shoulders.

One benefit that I noticed doing dips exercise aside from strength, is posture correction.

Unlike other motivational videos, I want to show everyone that this is not perfection this is the process of it all. As much as I can, I try to perform the exercises with correct posture with proper exectution and as hard as it is, do the clean rep, and in reality I would fail at some point. But of course rather than complaining, I would instead do it over and over again!

I think Jump rope exercise is one of the underrated workout with high benefits, and one of many exercises that I would recommend for any beginners.

Everytime I would hit the gym, after stretching, instead of doing stationary bike or jog instead, I would do jump rope as my warm up before hitting the weight lifting. Usually I would do it 10-15 minutes.

The best approach anyone can time it is by listening to 4-5 music tracks!

Benefits of skipping ropes Beginners should know about:

It's definitely a calorie burner
It's a full body workout
It strengthens your heart and bones
It helps overall coordination, balance and improves functionality
It's a mood booster

In this modern world we live in, I believe everyone should never neglect exercise, and should be added to our daily routine, similar to brushing our teeth or taking a bath, and be more inclined to it as we age.

What's Good!

I was feeling kinda blue today and so is the weather late at night it started to rain, and the ukulele was right in front of me waiving, and hearing the rain pouring down, I can't help but reach for it started strumming with random tunes until I hit the Dm Chord.

For some reason, my mood has been off lately, and finding it a bit collective with people I spoke with recently. It's just weird, but of course, I don't want to linger with feelings and just want to move forward so I'm trying to voice it out in my own way, and so I started playing The Scientist by Coldplay. If you're not familiar, Coldplay is a British Rock band from early 2000 if I'm not mistaken, and the Music I'm playing was from their album A rush of blood to the head [2002]

This song seems fitting to what I'm feeling like having failed at something or making an error and wanting to recover or start all over again but caught up with hard feelings and something to cope with is being in love or wanting to be loved by someone. Playing the instrument is my way to re-energize myself whenever I'm feeling low, and singing along with it eases that feeling within. I put up the lyrics on the video so you could sing a long as you watch it. I don't have the best voice so I hope you could bear with it, and I apologize in advance. LOL

Today I am sending my entry for the Hive Open Mic 151 and the Theme for this even is about Faith, Hope and Love this theme was chosen by the recent spotlight artist: @deeanndmathews, you should check him out and his craft. I am choosing this music cover called Better Together by one of my favorite music artist Jack Johnson. This music talks all about having the best person we can have in the world which is our better half, our partner in life in which we can create the best memories and worst, to be together through ups and downs and in the end can always say, the we are meant for each other, and we will always be Better together!

Hi This is sensiblecast and this is my entry for Hive Open Mic 148 - Luz De Estrellas (Starlight), and my entry for this live music event is a cover by one of the music icon that I look up to.

This is actually a tribute song since it was his birthday last February 6, 2023, and if you're are not familiar with him, his name is Bob Marley, and he has been an icon for Peace, Love and Unity.

Before the End of December 2022, I joined the HivePh Discord Community's Talent Show for the Members enjoyment, and it was a mashed up songs that was on the top of my mind. While doing some editing I've realized it was almost what my whole 2022 was, and here are the songs and the relevance and meaning of them to me, collectively the theme for Hive Open Mic - 143 is Voice of Hope by @magicfingerz

Fix You by ColdplaySomewhere in the middle of 2022, a shocking incident happened within the server when one of the member suddenly passed away. I remembered I was supposed to dedicate this song to her, post it on 3speaks and gather donation for her, but the thought of people might see it differently, I decided not to, plus the fact that I new to the server and I wasn't really that close to her nor her sister that still in our member group, and since the staff members where on it and have a plan to collate a post for donation for her.
Personally, it was the same time I was fixing my self, refocusing, rebuilding my self for myself moving on from my personal troubles. This song has always been a reminder of me that almost any thing in this world is fixable if we really want to. This inspires me that walking away and moving forward by learning from past mistakes that was done to us, or mistakes that we have done for ourselves.

I'm Yours by Jason MrazAnother song that reminds me for every single thing from my past love experience, for all the hate, all the anger, all those negative words that came out of my mouth, as some point in needed to be still and think of all the goodness in the world, the other half of things, the other side of it all, and as I look from within all I can see is Love. Respect your elders

Maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one might run out

Don't mess too much with your hair, or by the time you're 40, it will look 85

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it

Advice is a form of nostalgia. Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth
