"Identities Unknown” is an identity-centric podcast, produced in partnership with Zodapop by ZYRUP Media. What is the Singaporean identity? How can we define Singaporeans? What are some non-traditional identity markers that could represent Singapore and Singaporeans? Each episode, join hosts Saishwar and Nisha as they dive deep into a range of identity markers that Singaporeans encounter through their varied lived experiences, and as they try to figure out what the Singaporean identity is.
Ever wondered why K-Pop has been so popular in Singapore (and even beyond) despite the language and culture barriers? Well, it is not only because entertainment, language and cultures know no boundaries, but also because of the South Korean government’s efforts in globalising and exporting the Korean culture and entertainment since the 1990s!
