Today we talk about standing on faith rather than feelings when it comes to knowing that God is with us. God's presence doesn't always come with a feeling and it's important for Christians to know that. The are times in life where we might feel like God's nowhere to be found, but that's when we have to go back to His Word and remember His promises that He'll never leave us or forsake us. So even though the feelings may not be there, remember that God is still with you wherever you go.

Today we talk about comparison in the church and how it can lead Christians into feeling less important to God than others, or even make them devalue their gifts and talents because they don't look as grande as others. Many times the journey to the promises of God include that we work in places that seem too little for the greatness we know is inside of us. It can be fustrating to say the least, especially when God keeps you there for an extended amount of time and it feels like the promise is moving at turtle speed. For, when things move slow, you can feel that you're going to miss the open door of God when it comes, but you won't. Though the work seems small right now, you are under the guidance of a soveriegn God. He is the maker of the schedule. If you're allowing Him to lead, then you're right where you need to be. Take heart, your labor is from the hand of God. It may not be grande right now, but it is good and has a purpose. It's leading you right were God said.

Today Jayla talks about how we can determine if our motives for pursuing Christ and His promises are pure. She also speaks on the truth behind intrusive thoughts; answering the questions, "Are these thoughts mine?""Am I a bad person?""Will God hold these against me?" The enemy is notorious for coming against our minds, bringing in lies to make us question ourselves. Anywhere he can instill doubt within us, he will. Today we talk about how easy it is to become obsessed with the promises of God, and how we can tend to overwork ourselves in trying to rush them to completion. God never asked us to complete the promise on our own. He simply wants our obedience and for us to trust Him to do the rest.
