Say hello to the second half of the physician parent duo, Dr. Taimoor Gill (my very own father), as he selves into his journey with interventional cardiology. After graduating med school, Dr. Gill spent his first years in the US doing medical research with Columbia and Cornell University and now spends his twentieth year as a cardiologist at Baylor Scott & White in Plano, TX.
Today features the one and only Dr. Yaqub, my superstar mother! After graduating from Fatima Jinnah Medical College, she’s practiced as an internist for 20 years and now works at Express Family Clinic in Allen, TX. A life coach, author, painter, CEO, mother, doctor—you name it—Dr. Yaqub is here to delve into her life as an internist (hint: it’s not all about medicine!).
