We are back after a brief hiatus! In this episode of The 411 Podcast, we have our good friend and special guest Jesse Landis on to share he and his wife's journey through the missions field! Jesse shares about his time growing up here at Life Center, and specifically how his time in Heirborne youth ministry helped stir his heart for missionary work. He explains how God has continuously disoriented his family's original plans, and stresses the importance of being faithful and obedient to the Lord's directions. Lastly, Jesse details how their family has relied on the presence and word of the Lord through difficult times, along with ensuring their family unit is a secure and strong foundation. We are so thankful for Jesse and his family's heart to see people equipped, trained, and sent out into the least reached places to spread the Gospel!
Senior Pastor Charles Stock rejoins us for Part 2 of his interview! In this episode of Season 2, Charles continues to take us through the journey he and Anne navigated during their time in California, his desire to know the Word of God inside and out, and some of the most difficult seasons of their lives, just up to the point where they moved to Pennsylvania. We are so thankful for the lives of Charles and Anne, and their desire to see the presence of God flourish wherever they are.
Such a special episode! We continue with our second episode of Season 2 with special guests Reinhard and Debi Hirtler, who are not only part of our lifelines missionaries, but very close and longtime friends of ours. Reinhard and Debi explain the incredible story of their relationship, how they navigated early years of marriage and ministry, and their continual obedience of following the Lord's call and direction. We are so thankful for these amazing and humble missionaries! We pray this episode stirs your faith and challenges you to pursue the Lord's voice.
Senior Pastor Charles Stock joins us to kick off Season 2 of the 411 Podcast! Charles dives into great detail to describe his upbringing, how and where he grew up in California, the different trends and spirits that defined his generation during the 1960s, his pursuit of his wife Anne, and their pursuit for the way, the truth, and the life (God) together. We are so thankful for Charles' heart to pursuit an encounter with Jesus above all else!
For episode 42 of the 411 podcast, we bring on Brent Ulrich! Brent is our lead sound and techinical engineer here at Life Center, and has been on staff since 2017. Brent joins us for the last episode of Season 1 and caps off our one-year anniversary by taking us into his background of touring with different bands in his late teens and early 20s, to making his way into the sound and audio (front of house) department of music, and finally how he began to form relationships with people here at Life Center in 2011. We are beyond thankful for Brent's servant heart towards the Lord and His people, and how he cares and stewards the sound that is released from this house!
Ricardo White joins the 411 podcast! We are so thankful to have Ricardo share about what is happening and going on in he and Liz's lives, their struggles and battles over the last few years, and how God is healing, restoring, and showing His faithfulness towards Ricardo and Liz. What an incredible episode, with an even more incredible person! Ricardo truly embodies and displays what it looks like to pursue and worship the Lord despite our circumstances and trials.
Some of the best people here at Life Center, Rusty and Mia Fuller join the 411 Podcast! In this episode, Rusty and Mia share in further detail the wild story of how they met, how their relationship developed, and how they eventually found themselves back in Central Pennsylvania and calling Life Center their home. Rusty and Mia are genuine, authentically themselves, and true friends who are dedicated to serving and reaching the next generation! We are so thankful for their hearts!
Jason Burmeister joins the 411 podcast for episode 39! This episode is filled with so many stories and details of God's faithfulness. Jason explains how he and his family first began attending Life Center on Easter Sunday in 1998, how he became heavily involved in our Heirborne Youth Group, and how God eventually led him to meet his wife in Austria! Jason and his wife Sula's story truly stirrs our faith, as it is an amazing testament to God's faithfulness and goodness in their lives. We are beyond thankful they are here and part of our Life Center family!
Recorded live during Life Center Conference 2023! We were so thankful to have guest Chris Palmer join us on the 411 Podcast. Chris jumps on to discuss his first connection with Life Center in January, how he knew he wanted to preach from a young age, to the Lord shifting his focus to studying the Bible, and his role and the vision for TheosU and Theos Seminary. Chris and the team at TheosU are incredible people who have a heart to see others be true and faithful witnesses of God's word!
In this special episode of the 411 Podcast, we bring on our incredible friend Steve Espamer! Steve joins us to explain his amazing testimony, takes us through his time in ministry, and how God revealed the call of international missions in his life. Steve is the father of Katie Horst (episode 33) and the grandfather of Nathaniel Horst (episode 32), which made having Steve on this podcast even more special! We are so thankful for Steve's powerful testimony and how God has used Steve to advance His kingdom!
This week we bring on Matt and Serah Rudolph for episode 36 of the 411 Podcast! Matt and Serah are the leaders of the Greenhouse Discipleship Training School, located right here at Life Center. They also lead Gateways Beyond International, which is a family of messianic missional communities and ministries located in Cyprus, France, Germany and the United States. Matt and Serah discuss how these communities are passionate about exploring rhythms of life together that unite worship and prayer, discipleship training and world outreach. Lastly, they catch us up on Phase I of The Greenhouse that occurred in the Fall of 2022, and what's happening now! We are so thankful for this amazing couple!
The incredible Cherie Anthony joins us for this episode of the 411 Podcast! Cherie talks about how she first accepted Jesus at a young age, some of her struggles growing up, and how she stumbled upon Word Fellowship (Life Center) back in 1989! Cherie explains how God is doing an inner healing in each generation, especially the young children! Lastly, she discusses the impact of Healing the Heart Ministries here at Life Center, and the various healing classes offered. We are extremely grateful for the impact Cherie has on countless families and individuals!
Absolutely one of our favorite episodes of the 411 Podcast! Nathan and Katie Horst join us for episode 33, as they touch on their time in college, how they met, how they ended up calling Life Center their home, their expression of creativity through songwriting, worship, and their hearts to host people. Lastly, they discuss the importance and battle over identity in this next generation and how they love championing their children in every aspect of life. We hope you get to know Nathan and Katie more through this episode!
For this episode of the 411 podcast we bring on Nathaniel Horst, who is usually behind the scenes here at Life Center! Nathaniel takes us through his time growing up here, and explains the impact of his encounters with the Holy Spirit in both 1st Wave Kidz and Heirborne Youth. Lastly, he dives into the passions the Lord has put on his heart, and how his different giftings and passions have evolved over the years. Nathaniel is part of our creative team here at Life Center, as well as helping with production on Sundays and Wednesdays. We are so thankful for his heart to see the Kingdom of God fully realized and known in his generation!
Happy New Year!! For our first episode of 2023, we bring on Ethan Muller! Although Ethan and his family grew up traveling to nearly every different state possible, he and his family have called Life Center home for many years now. Ethan explains how he was impacted during his time as a kid in 1st Wave Kidz and Heirborne Youth, his time as an intern here at Life Center, and how his experiences eventually led him to helping serve on our 1st Wave Kidz Ministry team here with Travis and Leanna Johnston!

Our lead building engineer, Kevin Okuley, joins the podcast for episode 23! Kevin explains how he began to attend Life Center in 2012, and how he became more involved through serving and volunteering on different teams which led to a job offer to come on staff. Not only does Kevin have a heart to complete projects and tasks in an efficient manner, but worship is also a huge part of his life! Dawn is one of the most important staff members on our staff here at Life Center, as she helps in nearly every facet of every department and ministry. Dawn discusses her upbringing and background, as well as how her search for more of the Holy Spirit led her and her husband to Life Center. We are so grateful that Dawn and Fred Locke have been such an incredible part of building the heart of this house!
In our 20th episode of the 411 podcast, we talk to our outreach pastors - Edgar and Yadira Castanon! Edgar and Yadira explain how they moved from Guatemala to Bethlehem, PA to plant a church, then eventually found themselves in Harrisburg in 2012. Their story and journey is a testament to trusting the Lord and being obedient to when and where He calls us! We are so blessed by their faithfulness towards God and the needs of His people!
In our first official episode going "outside" of our staff, we bring on special guest Sue Roby! Sue and her husband Ed have been a core part of the body here at Life Center since 1984, when they first attended on Mothers Day! Sue describes how God revived her and Ed's marriage, the encounters each of them had with the Lord throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, how she defeated cancer standing on God's promises, and more! This episode was truly special, and we believe everyone will be strengthened by listening to Sue's testimonies!
In this episode of the 411 Podcast we take a sneak peek behind our production team leaders and pastors, Robbie and Allison Barnett! After explaining some of their backstory of how they grew up in Kentucky, moved to North Carolina, and began to travel thanks to their new business, Robbie and Allison discuss how they formed such strong relationships with people here at Life Center. Robbie and Allison also explain their heart for strong community, and to see people thrive in their giftings among those communities. We are so thankful the Lord brought Robbie and Allison to Life Center!!
Chandy Thomas comes on the podcast for Episode 17! This episode was one of our absolute favorites, as Chandy describes in detail he and his wife Sarah's time in Cyprus, raising their family in the missions field, the importance of trusting the Lord through dreams and different seasons, and the launching of the Greenhouse Discipleship School in just a few weeks! Chandy and his family are such a gift to this house at Life Center!
Part Two with Anne Stock! In this episode of the 411 Podcast, we continue our conversation with Anne as she describes the process of Word Fellowship becoming Life Center. Anne also goes into detail of her own heart transformation during this time, the impact of the Toronto Blessing, and the importance of receiving confirmation from the Holy Spirit. John and Patty Leach join us for episode 15 of the 411 Podcast! They have been the Executive Pastors here at Life Center for over 30 years. John and Patty share some of their salvation story, how God marked their lives and their family, some early stories about Life Center, and their excitement to run with and see God move through the next generations. We are so thankful for John and Patty's heart to see people restored and to know the love of the Father!
One of our Senior Pastors, Anne Stock, visits The 411 Podcast! Anne dives into hers and Charles' background, growing up out west in the 1970s, and explains in detail their journey and path of how they made their way to Life Center in the 1988. This will certainly be part one of at least a multi-part episode, as Anne shares so much wisdom throughout this time with us! We are so grateful to have Charles and Anne as our leaders here at Life Center!
Rick Pickens joins The 411 Podcast for Episode 13! A man who wears many different hats on our team, Rick and his wife Jolene first came to Life Center in 2000 and eventually joined the staff as our Children's Pastors in 2003. Rick now is on our pastoral team as well as part of our tech team. Rick is one of the best storytellers - as heard on this episode! We absolutely love Rick, Jolene, and their daughters and are so thankful for their family!
David Moore comes on the 411 Podcast! In this episode, David explains some of his background of how he first became involved in the missionary field, the call on his life to missions, how he and his wife Ally found Life Center, and gives us some insight on Lifeseeds International - our outreach program here at Life Center.
