Faith is the power that framed the world. Following the commandments of God and His chosen prophet takes great faith. We also know that the exceeding faith it takes to change and repent is worth exercising. We lived with God before we existed in this mortal state. The memory of this state of life is forgotten, yet not removed. You may find at times that you are learning something you have never learned before and still it seems that you already know it...it is a truth that is part of your being, you have only forgotten. You see, the truth is we are immortal beings having a mortal experience. We will at times have glimpses of what we forgot. Trust those truths and the intelligence that is you leading you to the Savior. There is no greater quest. Everything depends on it.
As you listen with your heart, we invite to pray and do the simple things necessary to exercising faith in Christ in every circumstance. Never let Satan remove the reward that is waiting for all true followers. Faith ensures our eternity and the eternity of those we love is more beautiful than mortal mind can imagine. Trusting God's Plan will be the greatest test and greatest joy we will every experience.

As we seek to establish a house of learning our greatest priority is to seek the spirit of the Lord that we may make wiser choices. When we have the spirit of the Lord then we can focus on what matters intellectually, physically, emotionally and mentally.

Understanding the purpose of priesthood keys is imperative to having a firm testimony and conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ. As we understand how the keys of the priesthood were restored in our day, our gratitude for God and His perfect plan will deepen. Priesthood keys are how God shares His power with men, women and children on the earth. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints provides the doctrine, ordinances and authority to help families in their sacred priesthood responsibility of preparing their posterity to receive saving ordinances. We are blessed to live in a time where the power of God has been restored. The organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints required having authority given to them from heaven. The authority of The Church began as John the Baptist, a resurrected being, came and restored the priesthood of Aaron, which gave Joseph and Oliver the authority to baptize both for remission of sins and for the membership into the restored Church of Christ. Join Kendra and Andrea as they discuss the blessings that have come to their lives through priesthood keys.
As we embrace the Relief Society organization in the way the Lord has designed it to be, miracles will happen as we work to relieve the suffering in the world. We invite all women to check out the largest organization in the world and what we are about. We invite all men to support their sister's in Christ as they support the work of the Relief Society. This divinely organized group is a place where sisters can gain the understanding they need to grow into their true selves as they reach out and serve others. As we discuss the blessings promised by our Prophet we hope you feel of your importance and allow heaven to empower you to accomplish your earthly mission.
We learn from the Bible that in the days proceeding the second coming the of the Lord men's hearts will fail them (see Luke 26:21). Yet even though the conditions of the earth will be frightful we can choose to use these experiences as opportunities to grow our faith in the Lord. Join Kendra and Andrea as they discuss the help that comes as we listen to the Prophet as he seeks to lead us to the Savior Jesus Christ.
As we increase our skills and abilities to show love during times of disagreement and difficulty we will be true followers of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ taught us to be peacemakers. We are all children of God and are worthy of respect and kindness. Are we actively loving our neighbor or just those we agree with? True disciples of Christ love God and their neighbor as themselves. We can both stay true to our religious beliefs and show love to others with different beliefs. Join us as we discuss the truths of the gospel that will fortify us in our efforts to show love during times of disagreement.
Major changes are coming to Seminary and big changes have already happened for Institute. Kendra and Andrea explain the changes and why these inspired programs are worth the effort to participate fully in. Sometimes youth and young adults do not understand how vital these programs are in strengthening them spiritually. Kendra shares parenting techniques that help her children push through teenage apathy. The Prophet's recent invitation to attend Institute, and introduction of new classes for Seminary students, emphasizes the importance of these vital resources to combat our difficult social climate.
Join Kendra and Andrea as they discuss the importance of temples in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They will discuss the importance of living up to our privileges which we receive by honoring and keeping temple covenants. They also explore how to receive temple blessings as we are preparing to meet the worthiness standards or are limited in our temple worship because of the distance. President Nelson, in his inspired role as prophet and leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has announced a greater number of temples than ever before in the history of of our Church. We live in exiting times! If we understand who we are then we can be a great source of light of the temple in our lives and lead others to those eternal blessings.
Join Andrea and Kendra as they discuss coming closer to Christ by better understanding the covenants we make in His Holy House. In this episode we discuss the prophet's charge to spend more time in the temple and the role that plays in freeing us from the world's constant pull.
Keeping our minds and hearts calm during troubling times is difficult, but that is what is necessary to hear the voice of the spirit and feel the promptings of the Holy Ghost. We can gain that calm heart and mind through daily repentance. Join me as I discuss ways that I have tried to change in order to better hear the voice of the spirit.
Knowing the basic doctrines of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helps children gain an inner strength and confidence which helps them navigate through the difficulties of life.
