Sharing the love and living grace of Jesus in all that we do and all that we are. Join us for our weekly 5 minute devotionals series and make time for the Lord no matter how busy or tight your schedule might be.
With the uncertainties of current events in our world, it can be hard to maintain peace, joy, and hope in our lives. Instead, we may be filled with more anxiety, fear, and worries than usual. Our passage this week comes from Psalm 94, where it says, "when anxiety was great within me, [God's] consolation brought me joy." Make time for the Lord today, find your refuge in Him, and He will the restore peace and joy in your life.
This special episode of 5 Minute Devotionals features a Tagalog spoken word by Mylene Badua to conclude the message. We discuss Luke 22 and Matthew 21, where Jesus redeems and re-instates Peter after he denied knowing Jesus. As Jesus forgave Peter and gave him 3 chances to redeem his faith after denying Him 3 times before, Jesus redeems us no matter how many times we fail and deny Him in our lives. He has only one question for you today, "Do you love me?" If so, He tells us, "Feed my sheep, and Follow me!"
We're all looking for love. Sometimes, we look for it in the wrong places, things, and people that can never fully fulfill us in the way that we want or need. Only God's love can do that. Today, God wants you to know how much He loves you. So much so that He sacrificed his beloved son Jesus that you should gain life and have a relationship with Him. Only when you understand God's love can you truly love and care for others unconditionally. Will you accept Jesus's invitation in Revelations 3:20, and accept His love and grace into your heart?
With Valentine's day just around the corner, us single people may feel more loneliness and pressure to follow the world's view of "love" and look for someone to "complete you". But instead, Paul urges us in 1 Corinthians 7:32-35 to take advantage of this season of singleness to live in complete devotion to the Lord. No matter what the movies, society, or social media says, you can live an amazing, significant life without a significant other.
