I Gambled Again!!

So you may be asking yourself I thought you said that you would never rent enough power to go from Silver One to Gold Three? And I did say that but, when I said that I also said that I would rent again if I got a killer deal. Well I did! 75k power for less then $2 how am I supposed to turn my back on that?

I Barely Came Out Ahead. So I got lucky this time and came out ahead. But just barely only around $0.50 in USD. But when you think about what the cards with be worth in the future. Or at least that is what I keep telling myself in my head. Even still I feel like it comes down to the thrill of opening the extra chests. Like how people know buying single cards is a better way to build out your deck but you can not help but love to open packs. What I Used Most This Season. This bad boy right here was my ace in the hole for most of the season. Which struck me as odd as I thought of myself more on an Earth splinter type of person. But after getting a hold of this man right here..... Fire might be my new home. Not only is he great for reverse speed matches. You can also use him to combat all the magic that you are running into out there. And to me that is a big plus. Once he gets that blood lust going Grum is truly a steam roller. I also found that if I paired him with kitty he was great in non-reverse speed fights. Plus two speed and a self heal on this dude makes him a titan. At the time of writing this on February 2nd 2022 you can grab a level 4 kitty for 256 DEC a day. Now that might seem high but if you pair these two cards with each other on the first two days of the season. You can probably afford to pay to rent Kitty for three or four days. But wait there is more!!! Kitty also give this guy trueshot so no more pesky missing of your attacks. No the only major setback to this combo is the high mana cost and dragons being a splinter eligible to play. Grum Is Not The Only One! I was searching around for other fire cards to supplement my Grum and this guy caught my attention. He has that dodge ability which gives him the chance to not get hit by other sneak, snipe, or opportunity monsters. So I thought this was a huge creature to have in my fire toolbox. Sneak is so valuable sometimes. And he grabs an extra melee attack when you are using Tarsa. You pepper in a few monsters with blast, and in no time you will be wacking away at that healer that is keeping their tank alive. I know nothing makes me feel better then when I am fight the earth splinter and I chew through the Mycelic Splipspawn they put in the back. Then either their Goblin Psychic or Wood Nymph are exposed. You smack those healers and then good ole mister Unicorn is left to face the wraith. But like I was saying this is a fantastic card to help supplement the might of Grum. Although Grum can be a one man wrecking crew sometimes we all need a little help from our friends! Conclusion: I am pretty happy with my choice to gamble and rent the power for the extra chests. I will wait and see what this season brings me. If I can find a steal like that again then I will more then likely jump on it. Let me know if you love the thrill of opening packs, loot chests, or daily reward chests. And do your risk it for the biscuit so to speak.

How did Silver One treat us?

Like an egg on a hot rock in the desert!! And what I mean by that is left to fry but noboday really wants it after sitting on that dirty rock lol. After the past two seasons of having the rating for Gold three but not the collection power I decided to just hang in Silver one. The cost of renting enough power for me to hit Gold three was not worth the EOS rewards. Honestly the EOS rewards are basically worthless right now. That is unless you are super lucky and actually pull a legendary. Which I do not think exsists or maybe just not for me.

My reason for saying this is that the last two seasons that I rented enough power for Gold three my EOS were barely worth $2. And for the cost to rent the required power it just was not a sound investment. I know all of crypto is down and perhaps in a year that $2 will be $4 or more. But for now it just does not make sense for me. I wish they did not make the change to collection power on the cards that they did for chaos legion. It basically doubles the amount of time it takes to build your CP.

Watch Death smash Llama Krong in the face during our death daily! Hey what is up yall squirrelacus here bringing you my death splinter daily quest battles. I ended up going five out of six with the death splinter. However you will see eight battles here. The reasoning for that was when I saw the mana cap and rule set. I figured I could grab a win with a different splinter. I was wrong in that choice. But the highlight to these battles was me crushing a Llama Kron combo. And I also beat a team with Dr. Blight. Whenever I can beat down a team with those cards it is always a good day. Death is not my go to splinter but I am starting to warm up to it. It is the one splinter I do not actually own the cards myself so I have to rely on the ones from the spell book. I am looking to remedy this when the general sale takes place on Janurary 17th as I feel like there is going to be an overstock of cards. Or at least that is my hope. Or it could actually go the oppisite way. And people realize now is the time to buy since most parts are open. It will certainly be a site to see. I am still not sure at this point if I am going to be able to pick up any packs. Hopefully a few things I am waiting on go through for me. If that does happen then I will be able to buy a few packs. But more of a heavy focus on building out my Death and Water splinters. So tell me what Death card is your must have in your death deck?

The reason I am warming up to death is I have Owster Rotwell for my death summoner. And facing a lot of magic line ups it seems like being able to reflect a little damage back at them every attack is nice. Combine that with life leech on a few of the cards and you have a pretty strong line up. Also if you choose your tank will have thorns if you go with Cursed Windeku. So while I love the Earth splinter at heart perhaps some death and decay are creeping into my life. I do feel like I need to be more rounded and learn a little about every splinter instead of my current way of thinking which is basically all Earth all the time. So as a promise to myself and a way to make me a better player Death show be my next splinter. The only real issue I ever run into when playing with death is if somebody does a minus one magic damage summoner. Because this basically makes those monsters I was speaking about above worthless. As they only have one magic attack each.

the holiday together. I am bringing you a Earth splinter daily quest playthrough. I am using Lama and Kron.

Seems like my Kron The Undying also gets rented from @Clove71. I should try and get a frequent flyer renter

I am sitting at silver three so it is only two chests. It has been a minute since I did a splinterlands post as I been

playing a lot of Gods Unchained but you know I can not stay away from this amazing splinterlands community.

I found myself at the end of season having enough rating to slide into Gold 3 for the first time.

So I went on the rental market and found a steal of a deal to get me the extra power. And was really

hype to see if those extra chests would pay off or not. Well I will make you watch the video and you tell me what you all

think about my rewards. But my other question is that when I first went to claim my season end rewards

the typical error came up. You have all seen it multiple times. So then you have to go back and look at the previous season

rewards to find out what you got. This got me thinking. Do you feel like Splinterlands is going to be able to handle

the server load of the public Chaos Legion sale on January 17th without the system imploding. If you ask me I

have my doubts

• Now the Earth splinter has always been my favorite. Then you add double heal and taunt and you know I had to.

Hello, I hope everyone is doing great and loving chaos legion so far. I am pretty stoked about it so far.

So here what I have for you is a fight I had the other day where I got to see the battler go long enough

for fatigue to set in. I though it was amazing but that is probably since it is still so new to me.

After watching Clove71 on twitch talk about 3speak I made a video.

So I decided to use the dragon summoner in this battle. I am not very good at using him

but wanted to give him a chance. I basically used dragon to play Djinn Chwala and some other gold

cards I have. I think Djinn Chwala's thorns paid off huge here.
