hello everyone!!!
I'm here with another edition of the hive learner's weekly prompt. Since I first saw the subject for this edition, I've taken my time to contemplate. One question I kept asking myself was how I might make this lovely edition theme unique. Perhaps you can figure out where I'm going, but if not, I'll tell you, but you'll have to keep reading to find out. First, let's have a look at the theme of this edition.
***Your Favourite Food
This can be any food at all. It can be local or foreign dish. What matters is that you just love eating it. Tell us why you love it and how it is prepared.***
Did I just see my favorite food written up there?oh yeah, I did. No need to waste your time, my favorite food is Eba and Soup. Which type of soup doesn't matter as long as it's well prepared with a steaming Eba as a follow-up. Don't look at me like that, I'm an Africa Man, what did you expect? Remember I promised to tell you in case you haven't figured out where I was heading to. okay, this is it. I present to you my homemade Eba and Soup Combo, which I prepared all by myself.
Damn, Isn't that looking top notch? You know how important it was for this to be unique. I've written a few food posts before, but when I saw the subject for this edition, I said to myself, "Kitchen, here I come." To be honest, I haven't cooked for the purpose of publishing before, but I have to say, doing this felt great because you all get to experience my culinary magic. Not to worry, I do not have monopoly of cooking, so I'm going to walk you through on how to make yours just as delicious as mine.
My delicious better leaf Soup; Why do I love eating it?
Just as everyone has foods they prefer, I have come to find my own favorite in the bitter leaf soup. One of the reasons I enjoy this soup is that it is extremely healthful and makes me feel much better after eating it. I have a thing with taste, and if anything tastes horrible, I might hurl up after eating it, but with bitter leaf soup, also known as Ofe Onugbu, I don't have to worry.
What is Bitter leaf soup and how is it prepared?
Vernonia amygdalina, often known as bitter leaf, is a plant that has a variety of health advantages. The Igbos call bitter leaf Onugbu, the Yorubas call it Ewuro, and the Hausas name it Shuwaka. The Igbo tribe of Eastern Nigeria is known for its bitter leaf soup. Many people avoid the soup due of the bitterness of the leaf, but I tell you that once you try it, you will concur. Now, keep reading, let me guide you on how to make your own bitter leaf πΏπΏ soup π².

Thanks be to God.
It's another wonderful day to have participated in the mass Indoctrination service of today.
Topic of Today
Prayers and it's content
A prayer has specific contents according to the bible. Prayer is making a request to God. This is proven from Philippians 4:6, let your request be made known unto God. In giving example of a specific request, Bro Eli used the story of Judas. When he (Judas) betrayed Christ and took his own life, the apostles needed his replacement so the prayed Acts 1:25. The prayed for Judas replacement so as to complete the 12 tribes of Judah. In this prayer, they asked for only what the needed and Matthias was the answer to their prayer. From this, I learnt that when we pray, we should be specific, precise, brief and not repetitive.
1 Timothy 4:5, I learnt that prayer is needed in everything. Before we eat, every creature of God is good, so we should pray and give thanks to God. God is always ready to hear prayers
We should we pray?
We should pray in both difficulty and comfort. That communication with God is needed. God wants us to pray day and night, that's, prayer without season as referred to it in 1 theselonian 5:17.
I also learnt today that out prayers are heard by God if we make them out of pure hearts. He stated that if our heart is evil, even if we pray day and night, God will not listen. Referencing the bible he said, the sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination unto God but the prayer of the righteous is his delight. God listens to a pure hearted man.
There are conditions give to us by God for our prayers to be answered and is in accordance of 2 chronicles 7:14. God wants us to repent of our sins, live a holy life, then he will render answers to our prayers. So today teaches us to take away the evil in our hearts before we pray π.
How can our hearts be cleaned?
The word of God cleanse our hearts psalm 119:11, and we are purified by obeying God's commands.1 Peter 1:22. Bro Eli made us understand that for our hearts to be purified, we need to depart from sin and take away the work of flesh, such as fornication, adultery, lasciviousness, witchcraft, hatred, Jealousy, and envy. He noted that these are the limiting factors to our prayers.
Lastly, Becareful how to use the tongue
Matthew 12:33,34, the fruit π is the product of the tree he said, evil cannot speak good, for our mouths speaks out of the abundant of our hearts. He advice us that he that love life and seek good days should refrain his tongue from evil, seek peace, for the eyes of God is over the righteous and his ears open to them. I learnt we should learn to use our tongue, for it is the same tongue we will use in prayers.
In conclusions, let's remember that every vain word a man speaks, he shall give account on the last day. Therefore, do not include God in your jokes.

Glory to Jesus
it is my profound honor to experience another day of greatness as Brother unleashed the glory of God through his great teachings of God's doctrine.
FELLOWSHIP (Galatians 6:10)
Teaching about fellowship, brother Eli spoke about the necessity of treating others well irrespective of their relationship with them. The fact of them being your church member or doesn't matter.
further teaching, he condemns the act of some religions encouraging their members to commit murder in service to God. justifying his action he referenced the book of john 16:2 and also Romans 1:32
In further teaching, he spoke of the greatest commandment of God. "LOVE". for better understanding, he referenced the holy book of colossians 3:14 which says, "IN EVERYTHING, PUT LOVE FIRST, WHICH IS THE BOND OF PERFECTION".
ORDER OF LOVE
our good brother Eli made us understand that love should first be accorded to God, then to our fellow men, and lastly to our enemies.
speaking of love for enemies, the book of matthew 5:44,45, luke 6:35, and Romans 12:20.
Most importantly, we are made to understand that we are under command to love our enemies and feed them.
introducing Righteousness, he quoted the book of Malachi 4:2 where he made us know that the righteousness of God is shown to both the good and evil and he encouraged us to do the same to our fellow humans.
more teachings came from the book of Hosea 10:12, 1 cor. 9:20-22, 1 Timothy 2:4, these he also used in the teaching of approach to fellow humans and for having no hatred towards our fellow human he referenced Act 24:16, Isaiah 58:1.
he condemns the act of seeking someone else's downfall and rejoicing in iniquity using the following verses, 1 cor 13:5,7,8.
in further teachings, he referenced the book of Hebrew 13:1, 1 peter 2:17, Romans 13:1.3, Job 34:4, and 1 Timothy 2:1,2,3
Finally, I honored taking part in today's service .
Thank you brother Eli for a wonderful teaching and thanks to the entire MCGI community
