This is where I have separate interviews with some of my best friends in which we discuss their favorite transmedia franchises, what their point of entry was, paratexts they engage with, and more.
I am primarily interested in people's own world-building experiences, interactivity, and immersion (ie playing a videogame, going to Disneyworld, etc). Inevitably, I will be addressing what fan culture means to them about the franchise of their choice.
Recorded at the outbreak of COVID-19, I had this idea due to the state of the world, and how I felt like more than ever transmedia could be a way to find respite when everything was constantly changing.
