Are all your friends in relationships? Do you have any questions about your desirability? Are you fresh out of a breakup? Being single for some may feel challenging, chipping away at your confidence. This episode will discuss ways in which you can build confidence as a single woman. Here are some tips to help you build your confidence as a single woman:1. KNOW WHO YOU AREIdentifying your strengths and weaknesses, your behaviours, tendencies, and thought processes helps you make the best choices for yourself. Focus on self-awareness to be more aware of your worth, values and beliefs. Know what you are willing to compromise and what you are not for future relationships.2. EMBRACE BEING SINGLEBeing single allows you to focus on yourself without having to put someone else into consideration. Once you get into a long-term relationship, you will never get your alone time back, thus making the most of being single. You’ll never have this amount of freedom and independence again. It can be helpful to remember that relationships often come with compromise and their own set of challenges. You have to like yourself enough to be alone.3. BUILD A GOOD CIRCLE OF FRIENDSSurround yourself with people who uplift and support you. Strengthened bonds, compassion and acceptance play a huge role in our well-being. In addition, sometimes we need friends who will “check” us. Being around positive influences will help you feel more confident in yourself and your choices.4. PRIORITISE SELF-CARETake care of yourself and do things that make you feel good. Take care of yourself both physically and mentally. Exercise regularly, eat healthy, and make time for activities that bring you joy. Additionally, seek out therapy or counselling to work through any issues that may be affecting your confidence.5. MANAGE YOUR EXPECTATIONSMinimise comparisons and maximize gratitude. Expectations vs Reality6. DON’T INTERNALISE REJECTIONS OR FAILED RELATIONSHIPSShift from an idealized view of relationships to a more realistic and nuanced perspective. Understand that relationships have ups and downs, and they may not always follow a linear path. Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would offer to a close friend.7. DON’T FORCE YOURSELF TO CELEBRATE “INDEPENDENCE”It’s very normal and okay to desire companionship.FINISH THIS SENTENCE:Stay single until…Follow us on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/kamonohealth/ https://www.instagram.com/kamonocreations/https://www.instagram.com/kamonobaby/Shop our products: https://kamono-creations.company.site
